  • Description: During this camp participants will spend their mornings exploring the link between clay and food. Students will begin by growing their own tomatoes and basil in ceramic pots that they themselves make. They will also create and glaze clay plates, bowls and cups to eat from and end the week with a celebratory feast. In the afternoons students will work on several themed projects that will explore the use of different artistic mediums.

They view art from a geometrical point of view, learn terms of geometry naturally in the context of art projects, and discover how closely geometry and art are related. During the other part of the day, campers puzzle out solutions to a wide range of puzzles, primarily 3-D ones. They log their progress and successes, articulate how they solved their puzzles, and leave camp with an assortment of general problem-solving strategies applicable to puzzles, math, school, and life.

This year's Spring Break Camp is a going to be a fun way for kids to learn Stage combat, gymnastics, make-up, movement skills and acting as they explore the dramatic theme of The Survivor Games. This camp is perfect for fans of The Hunger Games series, Survivor, Ninja Warrior, Lord of the Flies and more. At the end of the week the students will put together a small performance showing the highlights of the Survivor Games for their parents and friends.

  • Description: Campers think, create, and develop their problem-solving skills through this unique art and puzzle combo camp. Campers spend part of each day creating lovely and fascinating objets d'art with a twist of geometry, from mobiles and Mobius strips, Sierpinski's triangle and Swirltown, to pointillism and pentagons. They view art from a geometrical point of view, learn terms of geometry naturally in the context of art projects, and discover how closely geometry and art are related. During the other part of the day, campers puzzle out solutions to a wide range of puzzles, primarily 3-D ones. They log their progress and successes, articulate how they solved their puzzles, and leave camp with an assortment of general problem-solving strategies applicable to puzzles, math, school, and life.
