Late Birding

Sunset approaches and the birds are completing an active day of defending territories, feeding young, warding off predators and snagging the hapless caterpillar. It?s time to settle down and rest. This is a good time for birding. As birds shift into a slower gear, we can spot them grabbing one last snack or hear their vesper song. Bring your binoculars or borrow a pair of ours; field guides will be provided. Rain cancels the event. Facial coverings are required. Please meet at the carousel in Wheaton Regional Park, off Shorefield Rd.

Intended for ages 12 & Up
