What To Expect
As you enter, you’ll immediately see the amazing artwork that has been painted here.
Artists from Virginia were brought in to paint the entire place and took him 45 days to do so using special paint. All the art you see was inspired by the family who owns it.
To play, you’ll be given 3D glasses, your choice of golf ball, a club and a small clipboard with the score sheet (that comes with a clip you can easily hook onto your belt, bag or purse which is really nice).
At the bottom of the score sheet you’ll see a list of names. This is actually a scavenger hunt you can participate in if you would like. The names are of different staff members and they have been painted within the murals for you to look for as you go. Completely optional of course!
As you go through the 18-hole course, you’ll notice the themes change such as:
- Pirates
- Outer space
- Dragons
- Enchanted forest
- Under the sea
But that’s not all, even some of the obstacles to get your ball around match the theme, like sea stars in the ocean theme and fruit in the enchanted forest.
In the ocean area there are even lights that make it look like the water is actually moving.

The pathway between all of the holes is flat (except for anything painted brightly orange you will need to step over), however, with 3D glasses it looks as though you were walking across the bridge with water and sharks underneath, or in outer space jumping from meteor to meteor.
The owners of Imagine 3D Mini Golf are also on site and are very engaging with the customers. Yes, even on a slow night!
You’ll notice a difference with this family owned business as soon as you are greeted when coming in the door.
The staff is very nice, engaging and generally wants you to have a good time.
They make sure you know about them, know which options there are, even check if you apply for any of the discounts they offer and introduce you to the course so everyone knows what to expect.
As we walked out we were provided with a 25% discount for our next visit, a 20% coupon for Bahama Buck’s directly across the street and a few tokens to try out the arcade.
Other Attractions
On the side of the course there is a very long hallway leading to where the bathrooms are with huge graffiti walls.
For $1 you can tag your name on the wall and be a graffiti artist.
There is also a small arcade with about 10 games including a couple of air hockey tables. Games range from $0.50 to $1 a piece.

Tickets for Imagine 3D Mini Golf are required to play and the prices are as follows:
Ages 10+ : $10.95
Ages 4 – 9: $7.95
Ages 60+ (Military/First Responder): $8.95
If you’d like to play another round, you can do so for $4.95.

Thursdays at Imagine 3D Mini Golf is “Date Night.” Simply mention date night and you will receive buy one, get one free tickets.
The discount will not automatically be offered so make sure to mention that when purchasing tickets.
There are not currently any deals available on Groupon but you can always check to see if that changes.
Hours
Both the Gilbert and Scottsdale locations have the same hours as follows:
Mon – Thu: 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Fri: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Sat: 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Sun: 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm
On weekdays, you’ll face the least crowds amount of crowds and even have a chance at having the whole course to yourself earlier in the day. On weekends, go earlier in the day if possible.
Good To Know Before You Go
- There are very clean bathrooms on site
- You may find it difficult to keep the glasses on for the entire time
- Birthday parties are also available and if there is a large table with lots of seating a fridge and a counter space available.
- The kids will love it and want to come back 🙂
