They have such a beautiful location and calm atmosphere.
To pick the perfect orange pumpkin, you must board the hayride driven by Farmer Steve Shlagel and narrated by his brother, Farmer Russ Shlagel.
You’ll ride down the road past watermelon, cantaloupe, and red peppers as you enjoy the autumn breeze. Kale, collards, and bright purple cabbages are arranged in neat rows. Then the great pumpkin patch will appear straight ahead where you’ll be dropped off to find your favorite.
#18 Miller Farms Fall Family Fun

Miller Farms has so many fun fall festival activities. We usually always visit this farm in the spring as well for the pick your own strawberries season.
Their fall admission includes:

Visiting Larriland Farm in the fall to enjoy seeing the the leaves change color, view the fields dotted with thousands of orange pumpkins, each one waiting to be turned into a jack-o-lantern for your porch.Â
The farm is also decorated for Halloween with ghosts and goblins to both delight and scare you.
They have Boo Barn is specially designed for kids ages 4 to 6. And they also have a fun straw maze to attempt to make your way through.
The orchards are loaded with apples. It’s the last harvest before the harsh winter arrives. And fall is the ideal season for a tall glass of freshly squeezed sweet apple cider.

Baugher’s is one of our favorite place for picking apples in the fall so we enjoy coming for the scenic hayride as well.
Enjoy a scenic hay waggon ride through beautiful Carroll County farmland as they transport you to the pumpkin field, where you can stay as long as you like searching for the perfect pumpkin.
#21 Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch

This Sparrows Point tradition, which has been going on for over 30 years, is your spot for getting spooked this halloween season!
Victims have travelled from as far away as Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia to experience the terror and fright of ‘The Dungeons.
They offer a 1+ hour tour, which includes a walk through the terrifying woods of the Fort Howard county park, as well as the infamous fort dungeons, which have been haunted since the historical battle of 1812, and are home to Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, and Hannibal Lector.

#31 Bennett’s Curse Haunted House

Bennett’s Curse in Baltimore is a locally owned and operated business that features four Halloween-themed attractions. This is one of my husband and I’s favorite haunted house in Baltimore.
Underworld is set in the Underworld, where demons, vampires, and other monsters roam the border between the living and the dead.
Based on Dante’s The Divine Comedy, Inferno brings the poet’s story to life through 3D immersion, making you feel as if you are passing through the Gates of Hell and into Inferno.
The Ravenbrook Asylum transports you to a facility that houses criminally insane patients who are being influenced by an evil entity, creating a disturbing environment for all visitors to explore.
