Whole Foods Market Scores a Super Bowl Party Touchdown!

Super Bowl LI is right around the corner and what better way to watch the Atlanta Falcons take on the New England Patriots than with a delicious food spread!  Our Kids had the opportunity to create a food experience using Whole Foods Market prepared products and the Whole Foods Market 365 brand.

We were able to put together a mouth watering display of tasty eats.  Whole Foods Market has an excellent selection of products that are free of many harmful chemicals and additives.  Who says watching football has to involve foods with artificial ingredients?  Let’s keep it real.

Whole Food Super Bowl Spread

We created a delicious, fresh foodscape that included a Whole Foods Market prepared fruit platter, chicken wings, and a Kale Caesar Salad.  Whole Foods Market offers a variety of dips and spreads so we decided to dive into the Mexican Layered Dip perfect for pairing with Late July Tortilla Chips.  Setting up our nacho bar was a breeze, as we used Whole Foods made in-house guacamole, fire roasted salsa, sour cream, shredded Mild Cheddar and Monterey Jack Cheese.

Also on the table was a cheese and cracker platter to include Colby Jack and Sartori Bellavitano Black Pepper Cheese, a favorite cheese choice of ours from Whole Foods Market.  Pair that with Whole Foods Market crostini’s and organic sour cherry spread and you’ve got yourself a satisfying appetizer!

Every Super Bowl needs a tasty drink and we’d suggest the Whole Foods Market Italian Soda.  They offer a variety of yummy flavors!  We opted for Tangerine, Lemon and Grapefruit.  While we don’t drink soda, this is a great alternative to traditional sodas as it contains less than 10 grams of sugar per serving. Don’t forget the limes!  Use a knife to gently scrape a football line down the middle to add some festive flair to your table.

Perhaps our favorite part about this food experience was that we could see the colors of the rainbow throughout the food spread and we knew we were eating wholesome products.

I’d say that’s a Touchdown!  Bonus: we’re giving away a $100 gift card to Whole Foods Market for your Super Bowl shopping!  Head on over to the Our Kids Facebook page and enter to win.
