Camp Woodend in Chevy Chase, MD provides day, travel, and overnight camps for families in the DC metro area.

Located on a 40-acre nature sanctuary, our camps provide high-quality environmental science education and good old-fashioned camp fun! Camp Woodend is committed to providing the best possible camp experience for your child.

All camps are taught by experienced environmental educators, maintaining a child-teacher ratio of 8-1.

1st-9th grade camps run from 8:45 am-3:45 pm with an option for extended care until 5:00 pm for 1st-6th.

Kindergarten camps run from 8:45 am-2 pm with an option for extended camp until 3:45 pm.

Camps are a mix of one week and two week camps and run June 17-August 16, 2024.
